Behind those cold numbers are thousands of individual tragedies unfolding inside crowded tents, on hard dirt floors, and across bombed-out streets.
The Anatomy of a Reproductive Collapse

The Disintegration of Medical Access
It is not just that pregnancies are failing at a historic rate. It is that the medical infrastructure designed to catch these complications has been systematically dismantled. Hospitals operate on emergency generators on the verge of failing, missing basic supplies like laboratory reagents, anesthesia, and antiseptic.

Newborns who do make it to term enter a nightmare landscape. Neonatal care units lack incubators, steady electricity, and specialized staff. Mothers give birth in cars or shared bathroom stalls because facilities have turned them away. Postpartum care is practically nonexistent, leaving new mothers vulnerable to severe infections right when their immune systems are most depleted.
